2008 Vacation Bible School Report
Praise to the living God for allowing us to serve Him by teaching children about God during this year’s VBS! He provided the right amount of children (40-50) and the perfect helpers and teachers for each age group and activity. He protected us from injury and parents told me that their children were singing the songs and could tell them the stories they learned each day! Many of the children hid a part of God’s word in their hearts; John 3:16 for the youngest (ages 2-5) and John 1:1-4 for the older children.
The first day we talked about God’s good creation then we gave more details about how God made man special. The third day, we learned how man disobeyed God and his relationship with God was broken, and the last day we spoke of Christ and his perfect sacrifice for sin.
Thank you for your prayers and participation in VBS this year. Pray for the children who attended that God’s word would penetrate their hearts so they may find their satisfaction in Christ.
